The Creative Armenia fundraising campaign aims to generate support and resources for artists, enabling the realization of more projects, grants, and the development of signature programs like Artbox. With a campaign duration from November 15 to December 15, 2022, the goal is to engage individuals in contributing to the mission of Creative Armenia and fostering a thriving arts community.
The challenge lies in creating visually engaging and cohesive assets for the Creative Armenia fundraising campaign that effectively communicate the 10 ways individuals can support Armenian art. The challenge is to strike a balance between showcasing the diversity of support options while maintaining a consistent visual theme and avoiding repetitiveness among the banners.
To address the design challenge, the concept of helping hands was employed, with each "Way" represented by an illustration that visually connects with the support type. For instance, the "Gift an Experience" tier is represented by a hand throwing a paper plane, symbolizing funding for artists' international exhibitions or similar opportunities. This design approach adds depth and meaning to the campaign, visually expressing the various ways Creative Armenia supports artists in Armenia and encouraging individuals to contribute to the cause.
The first part of the design project focuses on creating an eye-catching main banner and tier banners that effectively convey the 10 ways to support Armenian art. The main banner will serve as the centrepiece of the fundraising campaign, showcasing all the support options in a visually captivating and cohesive manner. The tier banners will highlight each specific support type with clear textual and visual representations, ensuring that the message resonates with the audience and encourages their engagement with the cause.
In this phase of the design project, the focus is on showcasing the impact of Creative Armenia by telling visual stories of the artists who have received support from the organization. Through captivating imagery and accompanying narratives, we aim to highlight the transformative power of Creative Armenia's programs and initiatives. Each artist's story will be carefully crafted to convey their journey, achievements, and the role Creative Armenia played in their artistic development. By creating compelling visuals and narratives, we seek to inspire others to join the mission and support Armenian art.
In the final phase of the design project, our focus shifts towards crafting a coherent and memorable campaign identity that aligns with Creative Armenia's mission and resonates with the target audience. This involves creating consistent visual elements, such as color schemes, typography, and graphic elements, that will be applied across all campaign materials, including banners, social media posts, and website visuals. The challenge here lies in striking the right balance between cohesion and diversity, ensuring that each banner stands out while maintaining a unified campaign aesthetic. The goal is to create a visually captivating and cohesive campaign identity that effectively communicates the message and engages the audience.
